The Golden Bee is a favorite spot for locals who want a more casual lunch or dinner.  The pub was actually taken apart piece by piece and shipped here from England where it was carefully put back together.  The warm feeling you get from the décor is nothing compared to the fun you will have belting out a few songs after a pint or two!  The festivities start around 8, but get there early for some Shepherds pie or Fish and Chips.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is something you won’t want to miss. In the summer the kids will love taking a break at the children’s petting zoo and playing at the wet zone where larger than life flowers and trees squirt water and cool them off, giving Moms and Dads a nice break.  Feeding the giraffes is a Kodak moment you will want to capture, and the Budgie display is a favorite for all ages (it is seasonal, so check to see if it’s available.)

Seven Falls This hideaway offers a lovely place to go hiking and even take a picnic.  There are a lot of steps so you can skip the gym if you have a mind to get to the top.  The landscape is lush and especially nice in the spring and summer when you can see the wildflowers in full bloom.  

Broadmoor Hotel  There is plenty to do here, come enjoy cuisine from one of the many 5 star restaurants or complete a round of golf on one of their three famous courses, or check in for the day and get pampered with a massage or facial at the world class spa.  In the evenings, check out the lounge on the main level and sit under the stars by the huge outdoor fireplace while you enjoy a cocktail or coffee.

The Broadmoor Stables  If the weather is nice, the Broadmoor Stables have some beautiful trails to ride on, and many horses to choose from that can be let for several hours.  Guided tours for those without much riding experience are available and it’s a fantastic way to soak up some natural beauty and enjoy the peaceful surrounding.
