Briargate has been one of the most popular areas to live in for many years. Sitting just off I-25 and only minutes away from the Air Force Academy this is a very central location with great schools and ongoing growth. The Shops at Briargate offer some hip upscale stores that are sure to please. One of the most unique to check out is Gloss featuring the first ever “Jeans Bar”. Favorites like the Pottery Barn, Williams and Sonoma, Express, and Ulta grace this upscale outdoor mall. At the southern end of Briargate is the Chapel Hills Mall. This mall has been a favorite shopping spot and the indoor play area offers tired Moms a small rest while the kids play. For adventure seekers the rock climbing wall is a blast and is just outside of REI. The District 20 Schools have enjoyed a great reputation for many years. One of the newest schools to open is the Divinci Academy which has an emphasis on the arts and a lot of creative hands on learning. For those who love a challenge intellectually the Classical Academy is a college prep type of school that will keep you on your toes. Pine Creek High School was fortunate to have recently hired on one of the best Principals ever. She was given top honors by winning the prestigious “Principal of the Year” award for two years in a row during her time at Doherty High School. Pine Creek is a newer development that offers some lovely patio homes as well as the more traditional style neighborhoods. The golfer in the family will appreciate the Pine Creek Golf Course that was just recently completed. Briargate is a lovely community with a lot of stability and more mature neighborhoods with tree lined streets as well as newer communities that offer amenities like golf and maintenance free living. It is easily accessible to I-25 and the Air Force Academy is only minutes away.
